Kerinci is more active than most Indonesian volcanoes, with nearly annual phetrict erouption . In 2004, Kerinci erupted and continues to spew clouds of sulphurous smoke, with plumes reaching as high as 1,000 m (3,281 ft) above the summit. In 2009, Kerinci erupted again and followed by June 2, 2013 eruption with 600 m (1,969 ft) spewed black smoke.

Ittinenary :

Day 1 :Padang Airport  Kersik Tuo Village

​>On arrival in Padang at early morning, meet and greet with guide
>Depart Padang (8 hours drive on the Trans-Sumatran) 
>Lunch at the local restaurant 
>Highway passing through Bung Hatta National Forest and small cinnamon and fruit plantations
>Stop for a short stroll around the twin highland lakes of Danau Diatas and Dibawah 
> The road heads east along the flanks of Mt.Kerinci; a dormant volcano and the highest mountain in Western Indonesia rising to an elevation of 12,502′
>Evening arrive at Kersik Tuo Village 
>Check in Kerinci View Homestay and stay overnight 
> Dinner at Kerinci View Homestay

Day 02:  Kersik Tuo Village Kerinci Seblet National Park Tour 

>After breakfast, get ready for Kerinci Seblet National Park trekking, our transport drop you to the starting point at Ladeh Pahjang, around half hour by car  

> Jungle trekking 6 hours to Swan Forest

>Rest and overnight at the campsite, our porter team set up the tent for you

Meals: Breakfast: Lunch ,Dinner
Accommodation: Tent/Camping

Day 03: Swan Forest Lamp Auri

>After breakfast, we pack our stuffs and start trekking for 5 hours in the jungle

>A great location for bird , floral and fauna watching, wild animals spotting

>Camping in Camp Duri

Accommodations: Tent/Camping 

Day 04: Camp Duri Gunung Patan Sembilan Hot Spring

>We leave Camp Duri, it takes 5 hours jungle trekking, going down to the hotspring

> Return to homestay at the nighttime.

Day 05 :Home StayPadang Hotel /Airport

>Wake up early morning, then prepare for check out homestay and directly drive back to Padang airport or hotel in Padang
